- About:
Way With Words was formed in early 2007 as “QQ Noob” when three friends, Patrick Brehe, Joseph Scott, and Chris Gilbert, attempted to do a cover of “Dance Dance”, by Fall Out Boy. From there, they decided to take a poem that Patrick wrote, “From V-Day to D-Day”, and make it into a song. Three months later, the friends got back together and formed the song, “This Generation”.
In late 2007, the band recruited drummer Lee Whonic. Chris Gilbert left to pursue other interests. In 2008, the band recorded an EP “Something Stupid to Talk About”, and now regard it as their demo cut. Way With Words has played numerous shows around the North Georgia area, earning a solid fan base.
